Soldiers off the streets are committed to making life better for ex service personnel whose lives have been affected by homelessness. Soldiers off the streets intend to make a positive impact on the lives of the people that have given so much to this country then left to fend for themselves. Many of them with other problems such as Brain shock: The new Gulf War syndrome. -- Gulf War Syndrome. -- Post-traumatic Stress Disorder.

Our work is only possible with the assistance of generous donations from you. Without donations from supporters such as yourself, the people who will benefit from Soldiers off the streets's services ex service personnel will be left to face their challenges with homelessness all alone. It is our belief that every ex service personnel dealing with homelessness deserves the support that we are ready and willing to give.

We are under no allusions that we can help them all, we know there are other organisations trying to do their best but there are so many ex service personnel living on the streets no one can help them all.

If you have moved overseas you can still help us help ex service personnel by sending a donation. Did you know there are an estimated 1,000 ex service personnel living on the streets of London alone, there is a lot of help for them in London as you would expect, but there is an unknown number on the streets throughout the United Kingdom, these are the ones we intend helping and are going to do our best for.

We know you have left the United Kingdom behind you for some reason or other to make a better life for yourself and family, we ask you to spare a thought for those less fortunate, ex service personnel do not live on the streets without a good reason, there is always a sad story that got them there in the first place. Their past no one can help them with, but with your help we can help them with a better and brighter future.

Collecting clothes so we can hand them out to ex service personnel living on the streets.

Once of the street they have a lot more opportunities to lead a normal life, Living on the streets what chance do they have of even getting a job.
we need dedicated people that will help them back into normal society as some of them will be suffering other problems that they will need help with.

We need volunteers that can act as a go between to try reuniting ex service personnel back into their own families. This would be the best way to go but it would be up to the homeless person we are dealing with at the time. The volunteer that can act as a go between must be ex service personnel for this position.

Volunteers to keep an eye out and speak to homeless people, and if they are ex service personnel let us know where they are.

Fundraisers of any description.

People to arrange parcels and send them on to our main office to distribute to ex service personnel on the street.

Once soldiers off the street has grown, we will need van drivers willing to go out distributing clothes, food and parcels on the streets.

If you think you can help in anyway other then what we have stated please call or e-mail us.

You have a list of e-mail addresses that you send out news or even just a list of friends, send them a small letter explaining our organisation and what we are trying to achieve with a link to Soldiers off the street.
In the letter you could ask them to send it on to all of their e-mail addresses.

Please no spamming this is a waste of time and only annoys people plus most computers send spam straight into the bin.
